The University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjacket women’s soccer team has continued their losing ways of late and is now 2-9 overall and 0-3 in conference play so far this season.
Their struggles can be noted to their anemic offense which was shut out by UW-Lacrosse 6 to 0 on Oct. 2 and by Hamline University on Oct. 6th 5 to 0. These two shut out losses mark the fifth and sixth straight shutout loss for the Jackets.
With eight games left the Yellowjackets still have an opportunity to pull out a winning record on the season but will need to find a way to score some goals if they are to do that. Coming up there will be tons of opportunities for UW-Superoir as their coming up schedule is very busy.
On Oct. 13th they are hosting UW-Eau Clare at 4:00 p.m. Then on Oct. 14 they will be traveling to Coon Rapids, Minn. to take on North Central University at 4:00 pm. They next will travel to face UW-Platteville on Oct. 16 at 1:00 PM. To end their three game road trip they will be heading to Milwaukee on Oct. 20 to match up with Alverno College 3:30 p.m. Then to top off a busy week, the Jackets will host UW-Oshkosh on Oct. 23 at 1:00 p.m. which is also Parents’ Day for UW-Superior.
