Who will help lead our campus?
SGA special election candidates announced

There are five candidates on the ballot for the Special Election for Student Government Association senators.

The candidates are: Seungjin (Jim) Choi for the Departments of Accounting, Finance and Economics, Business Administration, and Elementary Education; Shannon McEvoy for the Departments of Communicating Arts, Music, Visual Arts, and Language and Literature; Yer Vang and James Wittling for the Departments of Politics, Law and Justice, Social Inquiry, Human Behavior and Diversity; and Ben Mooney for Student at Large.

In total, there are seven positions open. While there are two candidates running for the Department of Politics, Law and Justice, Social Inquiry, and Human Behavior and Diversity, there is only one position available. There are two positions available for both the Departments of Accounting, Finance and Economics, Business Administration, and Elementary Education, and for the Departments of Communicating Arts, Music, Visual Arts, and Language and Literature.  There is only one Student at Large position.

Please note that voting stations will be available in four locations on Monday October 4 and Tuesday October 5. The locations are at Swenson Hall, the Yellowjacket Union (either on the plaza or in the Shippar Atrium), Holden Fine Arts Center, and Markovich Wellness Center, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
