University of Wisconsin - Superior students started celebrating Vampire Veek on Wednesday, October 28 with cookies and a scavenger hunt.
Yellowjacket Activities Crew members were in the Rothwell Sstudent Center Concourse between 11:00 and 1:00 on Wednesday encouraging passing students to come decorate and eat cookies while they were walking through RSC.
Besides the cookie decorating, there was also a scavenger hunt taking place. Riddles were handed out to students that read, “Oink, Oink. You won’t get a gig if you’re a pig. We can help.”
Student Sarah Mahnke was the first one to figure out that the location was Career Services in the RSC where she found a paper pumpkin informing her she won the prize. The prize was a Hannibal Lector DVD and a YAC t-shirt.
The fun does not end there. Vampire Veek is part of Batty Bash – the YAC organized Halloween celebration taking place this week. There will be more fun Halloween events on Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30.
