Meet Your Government night was a rousing success at Marcovich Wellness Center on Monday night.
Twenty pizzas were devoured in less than an hour by about one hundred students stopping by to meet their senators. The event was designed to give students and senators an opportunity to discuss the Differential Tuition proposal.
Games were played, candy was eaten and pies were thrown. Student Government President Jessica Duffy and Interim Chancellor for Student Affairs Tammy Fanning both took it in the chops for a good cause. All proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society.
"It feels...it feels... I don't know! It's kind of fun. It's kind of wet. It's kind of uncomfortable - but it's worth it!" said Fanning after getting a pie in the face.
