It's been more than a year since Barack Obama was inaugurated and Wednesday night he gave his first ever State of the Union Address. Five University of Wisconsin - Superior students weighed in on Obama's first year in the White House.

A legal studies major, Caleb Nicholson says, “I would give him a B.  Barack Obama’s performance so far has been solid; as far as health care he hasn’t been bipartisan enough, so it will be interesting to see how that works now that Democrats don’t have the majority.”

“F-,” said Dan Perkins a returning sophomore, “As low as you can go…  He is putting the country more and more into debt, turning a capitalistic country into a socialist country.”

Phillip Froemel, a freshman, gave President Obama a F.  “So far he hasn’t done what he has said, he said he would bring troops home but sent 30,000,” Froemel stated.
