Student winter commencement speaker nominations due Nov. 3
To nominate a student (graduating in December 2010) to be the commencement speaker:
· Complete the questions and information below and email to senate@uwsuper.edu by 4:30pm, Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 with the subject line: “Commencement Speaker Nomination.”
· Ask the nominee if they are willing to speak at commencement.
Nominations will be accepted from students, faculty, and staff. Students nominated can be both undergraduate and graduate level students.
The selection committee will invite in the top nominees for a short interview at which time they will be asked to present an outline of their intended speech. Selection of the candidates is based on both the content of the nomination and the interview process with the candidate. One undergraduate speaker will be chosen.
