About 100 people gathered at the field house in the Marcovich Wellness Center Friday evening from for the Relay for Life sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Superior Colleges Against Cancer group. There were speakers, a pie-eating contest, frozen t-shirt contest, grab bag competition, open mic, luminaria ceremony, hot dogs and hamburgers sponsored by the BBQ club, cereal bar, scavenger hunt, and many more fun activities from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Over $11,000 dollars was raised for the American Cancer Society throughout the night and by donations.
