Player of the Week: Scott Behling
By Lucas Kraft, Staff Writer

Sophomore Scott Behling is this week's Player of the Week.
Cross Country Runner Scott Behling was selected online voters as the Player of the Week. He was selected as Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s player of the week last week.
In the first two meets Scott Behling finished first and second. His second place finish occurred due to a misunderstanding by him of not knowing where the finish line was and stopped just short of the line.
However, he still finished first out of all the current college runners only being passed by a University of Minnesota-Duluth Alumni.
"One thing that pushes me to improve and get better is a previous runner Jason Lindelof. He made it to nationals last season and I hope to accomplish what he was able to do last year,” said Behling.
When Behling is not out running and in school you can find him in the woods hunting or fishing for brook trout with his dad in Toffe, Minn.
His next meet is at the Griak invitational is this Saturday in Minneapolis.
"I hope to finish in the top ten. There are gonna be a lot of good runners there," said Behling.
