Technology Services of the University of Wisconsin-Superior has been making some upgrades to the University email system to make it work more efficiently.
Technology Services is making adjustments to the exchange server. The purpose of these adjustments will make Web mail be more appealing and function more like the full-fledged Outlook Client. Students do not have to worry about losing any of their data because everything will be transitioned over to the new server.
Outlook Web Access 2007 has a lot of improved features such as: an address book, search ability, easy access to G: drive, drag-and-drop capability, and an improved calendar.
Currently 178 of 5150 mailboxes have been upgraded to the new server. The updates will be completed by Technology Services by March 1, 2010.
