Men's soccer team going strong

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellow Jacket men’s soccer team has won two of their last three games and has clinched at least a 500 record on the season.
On October 23, the Jackets defeated Northland International University on the road by a score of 5 to 4.
However, on October 24, UW-Superior was defeated at home 3 to 2 by UW-Whitewater. Tyler Houghton and Matt Nilsen scored the goals for the Jackets. With this loss they end WIAC play with a 1-3 mark on the season.
Next up was a trip to take on Carleton College on October 26. The Yellow Jackets were victorious in this one by a 1 to 0 margin. Tyler Houghton played the role of the hero for UW-Superior as he scored the only goal of the game.
UW-Superior currently holds a 9-7-2 record this season and has only two games remaining. The first is on Saturday, October 30 at 1:00 in DePere, Wisconsin against the St. Norbert College Green Knights (6-11). Their final game will be held on Sunday, October 31 at 1:30 in Appleton, Wisconsin against Lawrence University.
