Technology Services is a very useful place for everyone campus, whether you are a student or staff member. If someone wants to check out a laptop, video camera, or projector, Technology Services in Swenson Hall 1061 can help them out. They will also answer any technology question one may have. As Emmanuel Tucker, a student worker at Technology Services says, "It's the Info Desk of Swenson."

Let's get to know Emmanuel Tucker...

Q. What year are you in school, and what is your major/minor?
A. I am a senior and am a Communicating Arts major with an Interactive Media concentration and am a Writing minor.

Q. How long have you worked at Technology Services?
A. I am starting my fourth year.

Q. What are you going to be for Halloween?
A. Well, last year I was a Northern Wisconsin Republican. This year, I'm going to be Nick Fury from the movie Iron Man.

Q. Backstreet Boys or N*SYNC?
A. I actually have never listened to them. They weren't very popular in my community [Milwaukee, Wisconsin]. I grew up listening to classic rock.

Q. Do you have any pets?
A. I don't, actually. My dog recently passed away. Her name was Molly, and she was a nine-year-old Beagle. She developed cancer at a young age.

Q. What kind of laundry detergent do you recommend and why?
A. Tide. I used it my whole life, until now. I am too cheap to buy it now, so I just buy whatever is the cheapest.

Q. Are you a Mac or PC guy?
A. Well, I used a PC my entire life, but now I use a Mac. I see why people like Macs so much. My Mac is shiny and has a good battery life. I am attracted to shiny things. I still use a PC at work, though.

Q. What is your favorite time of day and why?
A. 10:00 in the morning. A good amount of people are awake then.

Q. Where is your favorite place to hang out on campus and why?
A. Probably the YellowJacket Union Atrium by the pool table or at one of the high-top tables. It's a nice open area, and I get to see a lot of people who walk by and stop to chat with me.

Q. What advice would you give to a stranger?
A. Don't let other people's decisions ruin your life. Don't be held back because of them.
