Ambria Johannessen works at the Public Services desk at
the Jim Dan Hill library at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She can check
out books for you, help you request a book from another library and will even
fill the printers with paper when asked nicely. Let's get to know the student
that can give you the key to success (or a study room):
How long have you been working at the Jim Dan Hill library?
Four semesters.
What's your favorite part about working at the library?
I get to meet new people every day! I also get some free time to work on my homework.
What are you going to school for?
I'm double majoring in marine biology and broadfield science, minoring in photography.
What is your dream job?
I want to do actual research of ocean life, do underwater photography, and hopefully join the Save the Manatees program.
Do you have a favorite kind of cereal?
I like Malt-O-Meal and Cap'n Crunch.
What did you do over Spring Break?
I went home and hung out with my family, worked on Chemistry, and wrote a paper!
What is your favorite flower?
All the pretty ones.
Do you have any pets?
I have a Pomeranian Shih Tzu named Abby and a cat named Snowflake.
What's your favorite kind of music?
I like everything except screamo and rap music that you can't understand and classical music.
What has been your favorite class at UWS thus far?
All of my Biology classes.
