University of Wisconsin-Superior 2010-2011 Student Government Association election packets became available last week. The packets are due March 24 at 4 p.m. and elections will be held the first week in April.

Current SGA President Logan Campa urges all students to consider running for a position, as it is important that they are filled with, “… good hard working students, who care about the institution and wish to see a better University.”

Anyone interested in running is encouraged to pick up the official SGA election packet at the Yellowjacket Union desk. The packet contains more information about the 15 positions up for grabs for the 2010-2011 school year, including President and Vice President, four At-Large senator seats, eight departmental senate seats, and one graduate student senate seat.

The 2010-2011 SGA election packets must be fully completed and turned in to the Yellowjacket Union desk by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24 for consideration.
