To kick off International Week activities, a global themed Jeopardy game was held in the Yellowjacket Union on Feb. 22.
 
There were five teams of four people and about twenty fans watching them compete. The five teams were Campus Life, Student Ambassadors, Thai plus 1, Mtn. 8845, and Improv.
 
After the first round the game was close but by the end of double Jeopardy, Campus Life had pulled so far ahead that even with final Jeopardy no team was able to catch them. At the end of the night Campus Life held the trophy high. The event was very educational but at the same time it was great fun had by all.
 
The Global Awareness and Education Committee, Office of International Programs, and World Student Association are presenting International Week, which features a variety of events.

Wednesday, February 24 -- Study Abroad Fair, YU Main floor 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friend Family Program Potluck Dinner, Multicultural Center 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
 
Thursday, February 25 -- Concept of Beauty: What is beauty? How is beauty defined in other cultures? Hear from international students around the world as well as Spanish Professor, Dr. Jeanette Pucheu, YU 204 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
 
Friday, February 26 -- Visit with staff from the Office of International Programs to learn more about the Friend Family Program, YU Main Floor 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
Saturday, February 27 -- Soul Food Dinner and Haiti Fundraiser -- this is co-sponsored by the Black Student Union and World Student Association, YU Great Room 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
