On Monday night the campus of UW-Superior was full of many young children dressed in fun costumes for Res Hall-oween.
Residence Life encouraged students to decorate the dormitory halls of Crownhart, CMO and Ross, and pass out candy to children from the community.
“It was a great experience to give back to the community,” said Danielle Grover, a sophomore resident in Ostrander Hall.
Helen Licht brought her grandson to Hall-oween for the first time and was impressed with the turnout. “It’s safer and warmer in the buildings for trick-or-treating,” Licht said. “It’s nice for these students to take time and do this.”
Two-year-old John Timo, who was dressed as Thomas the Tank Engine, happily added, “I got candy!”
