Freshman Christina Michelletti from Mason, Wisc. is this week's Athlete of the Week. She was the second best runner for University of Wisconsin-Superior in the University's last cross country meet.
“I have been close to our first runner the last couple meets and it pushes me to hopefully be our best runner,” stated Christina.
She decided to attend UW-Superior over St. Norbert because it was closer to home and a lot cheaper. When Christina is not out running and trying to improve, she really enjoys art, taking pictures and hanging out with friends.
She is majoring in exercise science with a minor in photography. However, a little freshman indecision is setting in for Christina. She is thinking about switching her major to community health. She hopes to keep improving headed into her next meet on Oct. 9, “The Pine Hill Invite” at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
