In a mass e-mail to the University of Wisconsin-Superior campus, Assistant Chancellor for University Advancement and President of the UW-Superior Foundation Jill R. Schoer announced her resignation.
"My most treasured achievement... is not from the dollars raised or the buildings constructed but in the long term friendships built while I was in this position," Schoer said.
Shoer has worked on campus for 13 years. Her e-mail did not disclose where she was planning to work next.
"I am ready for new challenges and look forward to the next step in my journey," Schoer wrote.
Her resignation comes at a time when the University is searching for a new chancellor as well as a new provost.
