On Wed., Nov. 3 the University of Wisconsin-Superior Career Services will be hosting its Fall Etiquette Dinner, “No Gigs for Pigs” from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.
“The event is important because it teaches students proper networking and dining etiquette that can be used in both the business and professional world,” said Kathy Pykonnen, coordinator of career services.
“No Gigs for Pigs” Etiquette Dinner, includes a half an hour of a networking social, etiquette training, dinner and a fashion show to teach appropriate dress in the business world.
According to Pykonnen, “it is important for students to know the etiquette of dinning, because employers often will take students out to dinner for interviews.”
Any student of UW-Superior is welcome to attend this event. The sponsors for this include 50 Below, Target, Amsoil, Minnesota Reading Core, Minnesota Power and Maurice’s.
