KIrsten Scheid Managing Editor Good morning, sunshine! It's supposed to be a (not totally) sunny day! I'm going to ride my bike. A little cold for it, but there are only so many chances left for the year. Now, what else to do today? It's Spirit Day on the UWS campus, so wear purple! Support your friends in the LGBTQ community. Show that you won't put up with bullying any more. Sponsored by the Gender Equity Program. Those crazy Student Health and Counseling people are giving away “beer” today in the YU Atrium, as part of their alcohol awareness program. Stop by and see what they've got to say from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Tri-State Honor Band performs tonight. Top high school musicians will be putting on a concert in Thorpe Langely Auditorium, Old Main at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. And here's a chance to get involved with Student Government. SUFAC - Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee – will be holding its first meeting of the year at 8 a.m. in YU 156 – the Student Government office. It's an open meeting, and these people decide how much money YOUR student organization gets to spend. It's Thursday, and that's a good thing. Let's go make the world a better place.
